Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that medical reports indicate that "we have reached the stage of controlling the spread of the Coruna virus," while the US Secretary of State accused Iran of hiding the truth of the epidemic.
Rouhani said that the situation in the country will return to its normal state from Saturday, unless special instructions are issued by the relevant authorities.
He warned against what he described as promoting rumors about the spread of the Corona virus in Iran, stressing that "enemy plans aim to disrupt the country, by spreading fear in society because of the virus."
He called on the Iranian people to take their information from the media and official statements, expressing his hope that his country will pass this stage, without hassle to them and other countries, as he put it.
For his part, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that the United States is concerned that Iran may have hidden data on the spread of the Corona virus, and called for telling the truth on this issue.
The Iranian Ministry of Health said today, Tuesday, that the number of newly infected Coronaviruses in Iran has risen to 95, and has called on citizens to stay in their homes as much as possible and not to travel to other cities.
With 15 deaths due to corona infection, Iran is at the top of the list of countries affected by the virus after China, the main focus of the virus called "Covid-19", where the number of deaths reached 2,600 cases.
