Death of DJ Arafat

Regularly defiling the chronicle, subscriber to excesses and excesses of all kinds, Dj Arafat lived his life at full speed. It cost him his life on Monday, August 12, 2019 following a serious traffic accident in Abidjan.

With a group of friends, he gets on his bike and at full speed, hits a car. It is 11:30 pm on Sunday, August 11th. Transported unconscious to the hospital, the singer does not survive his wounds and it is the Ivorian Radio-Television and the Minister of Culture and Francophonie of Ivory Coast, Maurice Bandaman, who officially announce it mid-day this year. His real name is Ange Didier Houon, DJ Arafat is the son of Pierre Houon musician and sound engineer and Tina Glamor, sulfurous character of Ivorian music. Born on January 26, 1986, in Yopougon in Abidjan, he is the author of a dozen albums, the last of which was released on December 31, 2018. DJ Arafat was able to win in the middle of the offbeat coupe after Douk Saga, who died in 2006, led the way in the early 2000s.

Followed by nearly 4.3 million subscribers on social networks, the singer has constantly created the buzz because he has mastered the art of communicating around his projects, mixing music and business. The music was mainly intended for dancefloors , like his latest single in collaboration with Naza entitled Ventripotent . Multiplying the featurings , DJ Arafat was trying after 15 years of career (with some rewards) to conquer the international market, thanks in particular to the strength of Universal Africa.

He has throughout his career paid the chronicle people , his escapades having largely participated in the construction of a sulphurous image: domestic violence, accidents, rivalries, clashes on social networks, false leaps, the palette was wide. His death, at the age of 33, marks the end of a flourishing career and will undoubtedly help to create the legend.

Footballers Didier Drogba, Chris Mavinga, Maxwel Cornet, Paul Kabesa, Fally Ipupa, Molare, Serge Beynaud, Dadju, Davido, Ariel Sheney, Yemi Alade, Sidiki Diabate, Dobet Gnahore, M'Bouillé Koité, Soul Bang's, Mokobé, the animator of Couleurs Tropicales Claudy Siar and Juliette Fievet all reacted on the social networks to his brutal death.
