As of 17:00, February 27, Korea time, the cumulative number of confirmed cases of new crown pneumonia in South Korea reached 1,766, and most of those diagnosed were concentrated in Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do regions.

On February 27, Xiao Juan, president of the Daegu Gyeongbuk Overseas Chinese Association, donated to local organizations in Daegu and disinfected the materials with alcohol spray. The carton is affixed with the South Korean flag.

The South Korean government has implemented a "maximum blockade" policy in Daegu and other places, and there are few people on the street.

During the outbreak in China in mid-January, overseas Chinese in Korea donated money and supplies to Wuhan and other places. Now that the epidemic is spreading in South Korea, overseas Chinese are supporting the local area in various ways.

In addition to the overseas Chinese in Daegu, overseas Chinese and Chinese-funded institutions in Seoul and other places are also actively raising materials to support China and South Korea in their efforts to fight the epidemic.
