TF1 announced Thursday major changes in its programs against the coronavirus, in order to greatly increase the place devoted to information in its schedule, and will notably suspend the broadcasting of the daily soap "Tomorrow belongs to us" from Monday.
The first channel, the info of which is usually concentrated on its newspapers from 1 p.m. and 8 p.m., will broadcast in addition, as of Monday, the morning of its news channel LCI, presented by Pascale de la Tour du Pin, from 6 a.m. at 9 o'clock. This section of information will replace the emission of TFOU cartoons.
In addition, the channel will offer a daily version of the Sunday reporting magazine "7 to 8", also from March 23. TF1 will thus broadcast, from Monday to Friday at 7:05 pm, "Sept à quatre: laurne", a program presented by Harry Roselmack, and devoted to the life of French people in the midst of a coronavirus crisis.
This new magazine devoted to the coronavirus will replace, until further notice, the distribution of the daily soap opera "Tomorrow belongs to us", normally broadcast at 7.20pm. A decision made to leave more room for information.
France 2 made a similar change, suspending since Monday the broadcasting of its own soap opera "Un si grand soleil", which allowed it to extend the duration of its newspaper from 8pm to almost an hour.
