The project is jointly invested, constructed and operated by Shandong Foreign Economic and Technical Cooperation Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shandong Expressway Group, with China Hydropower Construction Group International Engineering Co., Ltd. and a Thai company.

According to reports, the proposed highway expressway project of Bangladesh ’s Dhaka International Airport has a total length of nearly 20 kilometers and is a two-way four-lane road. Connected to Chittagong Highway. The total investment of the project is 1.263 billion USD.

After the project is completed, it will significantly reduce the travel time of local residents, ease traffic congestion in Dhaka city, help promote local economic development, and have great significance for the construction of the Bangladesh-China-India-Burma economic corridor.
