The Central Bank called on banks to increase the pace of hiring citizens in various jobs and training them so that they can meet the required points within the system of Emiratization by points approved by the Council of Ministers since 2015 and the Central Bank began to implement it effectively without fines as a first phase in 2017 and then fully implemented in 2018

"In April this year, it set the target points that banks operating in the country should achieve by the end of the year, which is 29,736 points. Banks managed to achieve 28,050 points at the end of June, which means that some banks Increase the pace of recruitment and training of citizens until the target points are achieved by the end of the year. ”


The statement added that Central Bank Governor Mubarak Rashed Al Mansouri met with the President of the UAE Banks Union Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair and agreed on the importance of Emiratisation and work to attract and raise the efficiency of citizens working in the banking sector, in addition to focusing on the employment of new Emirati graduates and increase budgets for training and development of UAE banks so that Investments are being made to develop clear and ambitious career paths for Emirati graduates.
