We have become accustomed to Norway dominating in the ski tracks. However, we have always been able to defend ourselves by being good at something else - but now Norway has won on the tennis court as well.

In Buenos Aires, Casper Ruud, 21, became historic during Sunday night when he became the first Norwegian to win an ATP tournament.

- It's a wonderful feeling. I enjoy the moment and it is something very special when you get your first ATP title, he says to the competition website.

Went about his dad

With the victory he is now also the Norwegian who has had the highest ranking. He is currently in 34th place and thus goes for his dad, Christian Ruud, who during his career was ranked 39th in the world.

- Now I have beaten his ranking and won an ATP title, something he did not succeed. So I don't think I need to hear the question if I will beat him anymore, says Casper Ruud.
