There is always something going on with Tyson Fury: the whimsome British heavyweight, bleeding from the arcade in the third round, found the resources to defeat the Swedes Otto Wallin on Saturday in Las Vegas, after a fight worthy of "Rocky".

If Sylvester Stallone was in front of his television screen, he must have smiled seeing this fight reminiscent of his boxing movies, a bit old-fashioned, led after twelve rounds between two boxers giving everything to win. Fury with a sense of urgency at the risk of being stopped by injury, Wallin, who was not waiting so tenacious, aware of the feat that awaited him.

Deontay Wilder of the United States had to smile when he saw the man who had forced him to go to a draw ten months ago. If he beats his compatriot Luis Ortiz in November, he will meet Fury as planned on February 22 to clear things up, with his WBF belt in play.

"Deontay Wilder, you're the next jerk!", Yelled at him the Brit just after the fight. It remains to be seen whether his injury, which forced him to go for treatment at the hospital, is not likely to delay this appointment.

Meanwhile, the Manchester boxer had to work during the 36 minutes that led to his 29th victory (including 20 before the limit, a draw) to redress a situation very badly engaged after this violent left hook Wallin who blew his brow bone.

This unforeseen in this fight he thought to settle fairly quickly - probably like the one won after two rounds against the German Schwarz in June - made Tyson Fury doubtful for the next three rounds, without Wallin really trying to take advantage of it to push it down.

- Mexican grinta -

So every time he came back to his corner, as he clenched his teeth and had this great wound closed, his trainer kept him in the fight with these repeated words: "Do not panic, do not stress, stay calm. well, you do not risk anything ".

A Coue method, added to the excellent work of the trainer, which had the effect of relaunching the valiant British, largely dominating during the second part of the fight, with powerful blows that have exhausted Wallin, without dropping it however.

Despite a jump in the last round which caused him a final scare, Fury was logically won unanimously by the three judges (116-112 / 117-111 / 118-110).

The white shorts stained with blood, the one that had entered the ring of the T-Mobile Arena with a silk pancho in the colors of Mexico on the shoulders, sombrero on the leader, on a mariachi look, has made in his way a a tribute to the boxers of the border country of the United States, who will celebrate Independence Day on Monday.

He was animated by the same grinta as the many valiant fighters that Mexico has given to boxing.

Wallin, after a first defeat in 22 fights, said: "I did my best but Tyson is a great champion, I knew he was cut (at the arcade but also that more should be done to beat him.
