US aircraft maker Boeing says it has stopped delivering airliners of the 737 Max aircraft, which have been banned in the aftermath of a worldwide crash.
Boeing says it has stopped delivering 737 Max Jetliner customers at factories near Seattle in response to a temporary ban on US Federal Aviation Administration.
Boeing spokesman Jaz Vickers, however, said the assembly of the 737 Max will continue as it assesses the impact of potential use restrictions on the manufacturing process.
Boeing is expected to remain in production at the Everett plant in Seattle, a city near the city of 52.
After the catastrophe of the 737 Max 8 aircraft, which crashed on Oct. 10 and all 157 passengers and crew members were killed, more than 40 countries, including the United States, have banned flights to these aircraft.
