The Government of the United Arab Emirates, in cooperation with the Government of Ajman, launched a package of services «House Amer» in a pilot model, including in the first phase of the Emirate of Ajman, and implemented in partnership with a number of federal and local government agencies, in order to develop the experience of customers in the journey of building housing and moving to it, through Simplifying and speeding up the procedures, as the package includes reducing the steps of the customer journey in construction and moving to the new residence, from 14 steps to three major steps, by identifying the challenges facing customers, standardizing procedures and developing an electronic payment system for the service.

The launch of the 'Amer House' package, in the presence of Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, was announced during GITEX Technology Week 2019, where the participating parties signed a cooperation agreement to implement the project, including the Ajman Digital Government and the Federal Authority Electricity and Water Authority, Emirates Telecommunications Corporation, Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, and Ajman Sewerage Company.

Mohammed bin Talia, Assistant Director-General for Government Services at the Prime Minister's Office at the Ministry of Cabinet and Future Affairs, said that the Emirates Excellence Program for Government Service, in partnership with government agencies, has worked to find innovative solutions to current challenges in order to reduce effort and time during access to services. Through the organization of more than 15 workshops aimed at studying the customer journey and redesign, reflecting the directions of the UAE government to consolidate joint work in a team spirit, to re-engineering services centered customer, pointing out that will be built on the outputs of the pilot phase, to generalize This package is carried out at the local and federal levels, in partnership with the competent authorities, such as the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program and the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment.

For his part, the Director General of the Federal Electricity and Water Authority, Mohammed Mohammed Saleh, said that the service package «Beit Amer» embodies the government's endeavor, at the local and federal levels, to facilitate the customer to achieve happiness on the one hand, and supports the vision of the State to improve the service provided to the best Possible global levels on the other.

He pointed out that through this initiative has been employed a large variety of capabilities, including human efforts, digital software and practical experiences working in harmony, and was planned with a high degree of care and organization to achieve the desired goal of consolidating efforts and simplify and accelerate procedures.

The 'Ameer House' package aims to accelerate access to government service by simplifying procedures to just three steps through the Amar system developed by Ajman Digital Government in cooperation with the Federal Electricity and Water Authority, Emirates Telecommunications Corporation and the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman. , And Ajman Sewerage Company, which includes an integrated system that enables the customer to pay government fees for access to services in a safe and efficient manner.

Bait Amer was developed in partnership with the 50-Day Challenge team in the Emirates Government Service Excellence Program to address the challenges facing customers by organizing workshops aimed at studying the customer's journey and redesigning current procedures to reduce them, through the creation of new innovative solutions. Make it easier for customers to move to a new home in Ajman.

Activate services within 48 hours

Steps of obtaining the service include the submission of the architectural plan and building permits, so that the customer can submit the structural and technical plans and the application of the contractor approval to the partners through the smart service, and then pay the fees and receive the license within five working days only, without having to visit the customer service centers . The services provided by the Municipality and Planning Department, within Beit Amer, will also notify partners to start connecting the telephone, internet, electricity, water and sanitation services after the completion of the housing construction by up to 60%.

After completing the house at 100%, the customer will apply for a certificate of completion through the Amar system. All partners will be notified to start activating all services such as water, electricity, telephone, internet and sewage services within 48 hours of submitting the application and paying the government fees for the service.
