The Bank of Japan's Governor Kuroda visited the Prime Minister's Office around noon on March 12 to meet with Prime Minister Abe and exchange opinions on financial market movements that have become unstable due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection.
"We spoke with Prime Minister Abe about economic and financial trends. We will strive to stabilize the market through ample funding and take other measures if necessary," Mr. Kuroda told reporters.
