This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the letter of the association, which was sent to the Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin and Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Sergey Galkin.

“Forcing the tour operator to pay funds for the tour at one time will lead to a forced stoppage of activity and, as a result, default on those tourists who are ready to postpone the tour,” the letter says.

It is noted that for canceled tours it is proposed to issue certificates of deposit, which will confirm the preservation of customer funds from the tour operator and the possibility of their use for a certain period of time.

Earlier, vice-president of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) Dmitry Gorin commented on measures to support the industry in an interview with NSN.
