The last prodigy of the American sprint Noah Lyles won the final of the 100m Diamond League in Zurich on Thursday in 9 sec 98 (vd: -0.4 m / s), far ahead of his compatriot Justin Gatlin, 4th and worrying a month to put his world title back in play in Doha.

A chance for Gatlin, who missed his start Thursday, Lyles will line up only 200 m at the World (September 27 - October 6) while the young wolf (22) holds the second time of the year (9 sec 86) on the straight line.

Lyles beat Xie Zhenye of China in second, 10th in 04, and Jamaican Yohan Blake in 3rd, in 10s. 07, who beat Gatlin and his disappointing 10s.

The best performer of the year, the American Christian Coleman (9.81), was absent while waiting for his hearing on September 4 by anti-doping investigators for missing three times in one year to its location obligations. He is under threat of suspension that could deprive him of the Doha Worlds.
