The National Police have arrested an 18-year-old German man accused of raping a 14-year-old teenager at El Arenal beach in Mallorca. The arrested has passed this afternoon to court, pending the decision of the prosecutor, since the victim has not reported.
The events happened last Saturday night, after 11:30 pm, when the child was at the beach with her parents. At one point, he met the young German, who was accompanied by some friends, and went with him, according to sources close to the case.
After a while, the teenager returned to the place where her parents were and, in tears, told that the boy she had just met had forced her to have sex. The mother approached the group of friends of the detainee and asked for him. Minutes later, the young tourist returned to the place and assured that the sex he had had with the minor had been consented.
The teenager's family called the National Police, who appeared at the scene and arrested the young German as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of sexual assault.
The detainee has passed this afternoon to court, although finally the victim has not filed a complaint of the assault . Being a minor, the young German remains detained pending the decision of the prosecutor.
