January 01, 2020 A new earthquake of magnitude 4.2 was registered at 3:53 on the northern coast of Albania, not far from Durres. According to the data of the US geological agency Usgs, the earthquake had a sea center at about 13 km depth and an epicenter 27 km north-west from the city of the Roman amphitheater. At the moment there are no reports of damage to people or things. The magnitude 6.5 earthquake that hit the area on November 26 last caused over 50 deaths and 2,000 injured.
