Laskin graduated from the Ostrovsky Leningrad Theater Institute in 1952 and until 1980 played in the Bolshoi Drama Theater.
In the 1980s he moved to the United States, where he played in one of the New York theaters.
He starred in such films as “12 Chairs”, “Maxim Perepelitsa”, “Republic of SKID”, “Sofa in New York”, “Men in Black” and others.
