More than 25 dogs have died in Norway due to a mysterious bowel infection.

Asleha Hawkas, of the veterinary institute in Oslo, said all the dogs who died had sudden vomiting and bloody diarrhea. "They showed the same symptoms, but we don't know if they died of the same disease."

Veterinarians are searching for the cause of the disease, but so far in vain.

Most deaths of dogs occurred in Oslo and surrounding areas. But other regions have also reported symptoms of symptoms.

Not all dogs died of intestinal infections, Hawkes said.

Officials called on all dog owners to avoid contact with other dogs.

Many events were canceled in Oslo, which dogs would have participated.
