The Sharjah Children's Reading Festival, hosted by Expo Expo Sharjah until April 27, presents the "Journey to the Deep" exhibition, which captures the adventures of Captain Nemo and his submarine "Nautilus" to take visitors to the legendary worlds where he lived. , Inspired by the novel "Twenty Thousand Qurays Under Water" by the French author Jules Verne.
And "Journey to the Depths" is an interactive platform developed and designed and created by the Australian National Maritime Museum in the form of a mythological and mythical Nautilus submarine equipped with real techniques. Visitors embark on the voyage to explore the fictional world of Verne, Ocean.
The submarine opens its doors to visitors from all age groups, both young and old, where they can access, learn more closely about the interior design of deep sea submarines, use the controls in the cockpit, use binoculars, rotate the fan and experience the family in the submarine, Captain Nemo's closet is full of mysteries and wonderful sea treasures, and there is also a tubular organ that they can play.
The exhibition offers visitors, especially children, the opportunity to wear heavy, waterproof anti-leaky diving suits, made of one piece of rubber and designed to withstand water pressure, which was a war shield for its flexibility and strength. Underwater worlds, including the octopus garden, the giant penguin shellfish, the giant squid, along with the experience of the seaweed maze inside the large kelp forest, explore the lost Atlantis world. The exhibition consists of five sections: the control room, the navigation room, the lobby, the living space and the engine room. These sections include interactive displays, pictures, drawings and equipment. The exhibition presents several topics, including marine environments and the creatures that inhabit them.
In the lobby of the submarine, visitors find many of the rare treasures and possessions found by Nemo in deep seas and oceans. The highlight of the exhibition is that it enables visitors to learn how to operate the submarine, use it to explore the depths of the ocean, and learn more about the underwater world as if they were in a real submarine.
