Hazza Mansouri planting a tree

In the tradition of the astronauts aboard the spacecraft to the International Space Station, UAE astronaut Hazza Al Mansouri planted a tree at the Astronauts Park Pass at the Baikonur Space Center.

The tradition goes back to 1961, when Yuri Gagarin, the first man to go into space, planted a tree ahead of the flight, and since then astronauts have made that tradition before their first flight.
