A 74-year-old Indian woman gave birth to healthy twins, becoming the world's oldest mother.
According to the site "Odity Central", Mangayama, has been able to give birth thanks to artificial insemination technology.
The woman married in 1962, had struggled to conceive for decades, and all attempts had not worked, despite the large number of hospitals and specialized doctors, and remained attached to the dream of motherhood.
Last year, the couple had a glimmer of hope, knowing that their 55-year-old neighbor had conceived thanks to artificial insemination, and decided to experiment and culminate successfully.
"I am very happy, we are the happiest couple ever in this world," Mangayama said.
Doctors said that the most important factor in the success of reproduction in women, is that she remained very healthy despite age.
