German police announced, at dawn today, Thursday, 8 people were killed in two shooting incidents in the town of Hanau near Frankfurt.
The German police said that the number of perpetrators of the attack is still unknown, while confirming in its statement that eight people were killed by a rare shooting in two bars, and that five others were wounded in critical condition.
The police indicated that the suspects involved in opening fire on the two bars were still at large, and it was not yet known whether one person had carried out the attack or a group.
