“On March 21, 576 Russian citizens returned to Uzbekistan from Uzbekistan via Aeroflot and Uzbekistan Airways flights: 541 to Moscow, 35 to Novosibirsk,” they noted.

Earlier, the government of Uzbekistan announced the suspension from March 16 of air and road links with other countries due to COVID-19.

Later, the Russian embassy announced the study of the organization of special boards for the export of Russian citizens from Uzbekistan.
