As of January next year, the government will announce a fixed supplement to the 52-hour workweek, which will be extended to 50 to 300 SMEs.

Lee Jae-gap, Minister of Employment and Labor, will hold a 52-hour weekly working week briefing at the Seoul government office.

The specific plan period is expected to be finalized, including an extension of the special extended work system, which increases the exception to the 52-hour week.

The labor industry has opposed the government's complementary measures, which would defeat the 52-hour work week and fundamental labor rights.
