The statue of former President Chun Doo-hwan, kneeling with an overhead line, appeared at Gwanghwamun Square. May 18th group held a press conference calling for the arrest of Chun Doo-hwan at the Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul for the 40th anniversary of the 12/12 military revolt today. The May 18 groups have repeatedly called for immediate imprisonment and severe punishment for Chun Doo-hwan, a rebel massacre and the culprit of the Gwangju massacre.
