The Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi issued an administrative decision to entitle commercial establishments to the restaurants, tourism and entertainment sector operating in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to recover 20% of the total annual rental value of their facilities. Abu Dhabi Economy explained that this comes in implementation of the directives of the Abu Dhabi government leadership to support the private sector.


She pointed out that this applies to rental contracts for real estate, restaurants, cafes, cafeterias, sales outlets and sale of takeaway, as well as real estate units leased to establishments that practice leisure activities wherever they are found, and all rental properties for tourism and recreational facilities, tourist resorts and tourist singles.
