Singer Wheesung was found dead last night (2nd) in a hotel bathroom. She had been administered a sleep-inducing anesthetic. Dosing and collapsing was repeated in just two days, but it was not a drug that was classified as a drug, but was only released after being investigated by the police.

A hotel in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, said yesterday (2nd) at about 9:15 p.m. and a report was filed with the police saying "a man is lying in the bathroom" and "it seems to have taken a drug."

The fallen man is the singer Wheesung. A syringe and a vial containing a sleep-inducing anesthetic were also found.

Wheesung, found on the first floor of the building, was reportedly arrested and arrested by the dispatched police.

Wheesung fell asleep while taking medication in a bathroom in Songpa-gu on the 31st of the month, was released after being investigated by police, but the same thing happened in two days.


Sleep-induced anesthesia is not a drug, but its efficacy is similar to that of propofol.

The same incident occurred twice, but Wheesung was only released after being investigated as a reference, because the drug he was given was not a drug.

On the 31st of last month, a man who sold drugs to Wheesung without a doctor's prescription was arrested.

Police yesterday (2nd) also captured the circumstances of finding money at an ATM, and investigated the route of drug purchase, and collected samples from Wheesung and asked the National Institute of Scientific Investigation to overhaul the drug.
