On the 6th, at 2:50 p.m., the 150,000 ton container ship that arrived at Pier 2 in Busan New Port, Gangseo-gu, Busan collided with a large crane.The accident caused a crane to collapse above the 5th floor of an apartment building on the pier, and a nearby port official was injured.
The injured person was taken to a nearby hospital and was found to have no problem with life.
Busan fire department and Changwon Coast Guard are controlling the site and investigating the safety problems of three cranes around the accident crane.
