"It becomes clear that we should listen to the children"

- Now it is law but we must not forget that we have had the children's convention for 30 years so there should be no difficulties, she says.

But there are some concrete differences.

- Clarity and that we make the children more visible and that the children become rights bearers, says Sirpa Lindelöf.

Children should be taken into account in decisions that affect them or their environment indirectly or directly.

- The children may participate and decide, but they must not decide for themselves, says Sirpa Lindelöf.
