The UAE men's judo team grabbed the spotlight in the Arab Championship for Teams in the Jordanian capital, Amman, by monopolizing all the championship titles and winning the men's singles gold, and the teams' gold at the end of its participation.

Thus, our team becomes a champion for the youth category, individual and teams, and the men's category, individual and teams, on its merits.

The Emirati team raised its tally in the tournament to 6 gold medals and a bronze medal, including 3 gold medals in the youth singles, two gold and bronze for men's singles, and the gold of the men's team championship, an unprecedented achievement for the judo team, which became the talk of the tournament in Oman with the participation of 16 countries.

The UAE national team was crowned with the men’s team championship, which included 6 teams, and was distributed into two groups, and our team participated in it with the Jordanian and Syrian teams, while the second group included the teams of Bahrain, Kuwait and Morocco. Our team reached the final round by defeating the Jordanian team 4/1. The Syrian team achieved the same result, and then won the final against its brother, the Bahraini team, the runner-up, with a score of 3 / 2, while the Syrian team ranked third and Morocco fourth.

After the victory, the team's delegation received a phone call from Muhammad bin Thaloub Al-Dari, head of the Wrestling and Judo Federation, in which he congratulated all the members of the mission, praising the historic achievement that deserves praise and praise, wishing to maintain this level during the upcoming regional and international participations.
