A statement issued yesterday stated that this was done in cooperation with the Emirates Telecommunications Group (Etisalat), and in partnership with Help AG, the cybersecurity arm of Etisalat Digital, as part of the council's continuous efforts to improve the cybersecurity system and enhance the country's leading position. in global competitiveness indicators.

Based on the council’s role and in its capacity as the government agency supervising the national strategy for cyber security, the Cyber ​​Security Council has evaluated and approved several security solutions available by Etisalat and Help AG, including the service to address distributed denial of service attacks, and the management of secure electronic interconnection lines. And the secure web hosting service, as one of the national standards for protecting government and semi-government entities in the UAE from cyber intrusions and attacks.

The head of cyber security for the UAE government, Dr. Mohammed Hamad Al-Kuwaiti, said that all sectors (government and private) around the world are facing an unprecedented level of digital attacks that are increasing in size and complexity, and responding to these security threats requires close cooperation between various sectors, in order to ensure that the maximum levels are achieved.
