“Air touch” bowling alley reopens on strike, Osaka Suita May 23, 14:56

Following the cancellation of the leave request from Osaka Prefecture on the 23rd, the bowling alley in Suita City resumed operations, and enthusiasts enjoyed playing after a long absence.

The Futaba Bowl Kandai Mae store in Suita City has been closed since last month, but after the closure request from Osaka Prefecture was lifted, it resumed operations for the first time in a month and a half.

On the 23rd day, the first day of resumption, many lovers and parents and children visited from the morning and enjoyed bowling for the first time in a long time.

To prevent infection with the new coronavirus, a camera that can automatically measure body temperature is installed at the reception desk of the store, and a transparent sheet separates the lanes.

People who visited praised each other's play by making an "air touch" just by mimicking, without giving a high-touch even if there was a strike.

A 76-year-old man who has been going to the store for many years said, "I'm really happy that I couldn't take a day off from work, but I've been waiting so long to dream of bowling these days."

Naoki Hosoi, the manager of the Futaba Bowl Kandai Mae store, said, “We hope that you will cooperate with the infection prevention measures and enjoy bowling.”
