A 30-year-old man who broke into the gold and silver room and committed theft was arrested by the police.
The Busan Central Police Station said that they are investigating a 30-year-old man A on special theft charges and are planning to apply for an arrest warrant.
Mr. A is suspected of breaking the glass of a gold and silver room in Nampo-dong, Jung-gu, Busan at around 4:30 a.m. yesterday (22nd) and stealing 80 million won worth of precious metals.
The police arrested Mr. A near his residence two hours after the incident occurred.
In addition, all damaged items have been retrieved and the exact motive for the crime is being investigated.
