Broadcaster Song Hae's funeral was held at 4:30 am today (10th) at the funeral hall of Seoul National University Hospital.

Today (10th) at 4:30 am at the funeral hall of Seoul National University Hospital in Jongno-gu, Seoul, the funeral of the late broadcaster Song Hae was held in a solemn atmosphere.

About 80 family members, acquaintances, and juniors in the entertainment industry saw off the deceased's last road.

Comedian Kim Hak-rae, who hosted the show, said, "Let's have fun even if our hearts are sad today."

At the funeral, there was an excerpt from the documentary 'Songhae 1927', showing the upbringing of the deceased while he was alive.

When the comment, "The whole country~", the symbol of Songhae, flowed out, all the attendees responded by saying, "Singing pride."

After the funeral, the carriage, which left the funeral home, arrived at 'Songhae-gil' in Nakwon-dong, Jongno-gu, where there is a soup restaurant, barber shop, and sauna that Songhae often used during her lifetime.

About 30 people, including merchants and residents, who usually interacted with the deceased, came out to see off the deceased's last road.

The ungu procession with a portrait of the deceased stopped by the office of the 'Celebrity Sangnokhoe', which the deceased had used as a living room for elder celebrities during his lifetime, and the temporary incense burner set up in front of the bust of Songhae.

The truck was then moved to the KBS main building in Yeouido, Seoul.

In front of the KBS main building, the Noje was held with the signal song of 'National Singing Contest' resounding.

Director Shin Jae-dong, who had been performing the 'National Singing Contest' with the deceased for over 30 years, even shed tears as he conducted the final performance.

The remains of the deceased will be placed next to his wife Seok Ok-i, who is buried in Songhae Park in Dalseong-gun, Daegu, which he considered his 'second home' during his lifetime.
