Yes, I am at the fire site in Cheongnyang-ri Fruit Market, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.

It's been about two and a half hours since the fire started and the smoke keeps rising as you can see behind me.

I am tens of meters away from the scene of the fire, but even here, the smoke is clearly visible to the naked eye, and the pungent smell makes it difficult to continue talking.

The fire at this greengrocer market is around 4:30 am today.

The fire started at the whole chicken restaurant in the traditional market next door and moved to the greengrocer market.

The fire department, who was notified and dispatched, issued a'response step 2'.

In addition, 49 fire engines and 180 firefighters were put in, and 60 stores are struggling to extinguish fires.

According to the fire department, it is known that no human injury has been identified to date, but 9 stores have been damaged so far.

The whole area of the greengrocer market is about 2,100m2, and firefighters are checking the parts that were destroyed by the fire, and there will be an internal search soon.

There are dozens of fire engines on the roads nearby here to extinguish fires, so road traffic is temporarily restricted.
