Yes, around 6pm, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Park Bo-gyun arrived and delivered the Golden Crown of Cultural Merit issued by President Yoon Seok-yeol to the bereaved family.



The Golden Crown Order of Cultural Merit, awarded to those who have made significant contributions to the development of culture and art and the enjoyment of national culture, is a first-class decoration.



Song is the first Korean comedian to receive the Order of Cultural Merit.



Along with the medal, President Yoon also delivered a message to his bereaved family saying "There is no way to stop feeling sad."

Burial is next Friday.



Eom Young-soo, president of the Comedians Association, serves as the funeral chairman, and the funeral members include broadcasters Ho-dong Kang and Gura Kim.



Jangji is Gise-ri, Okpo-eup, Dalseong-gun, Daegu.



Song is known to have expressed his wish to be buried in Dalseong-gun, Daegu, the hometown of her wife, along with her wife, who died first in 2018.
