Zhongxin Finance, April 15 (Reporter Xie Yiguan) The staff of the vegetable base in the suburbs of Shanghai, who were still delivering orders in the early hours of the morning, drove vehicles full of supplies from all directions... At this special moment, countless people are working to ensure Shanghai's "" food basket".

"From early morning to early morning, tens of thousands of copies are delivered every day"

The figures of these vehicles and bicycles transported in the middle of the night allow the vegetables to be delivered to the residents at the fastest speed.

At three or four in the morning, at this time when most people have fallen asleep, a group of people are still busy processing the orders in their hands.

They are the staff of the vegetable base in the suburbs of Shanghai. At this special moment, they want to deliver vegetables to thousands of households as quickly as possible.

Ms. Chen is a staff member of a vegetable and fruit professional cooperative in Shanghai. This cooperative was established in 2012, and its current distribution covers the whole area of Shanghai.

"Now we can receive tens of thousands of orders every day, and there are tens of thousands of catties of vegetables to be delivered to residents," Ms. Chen told a reporter from Zhongxin Finance and Economics.

Before the epidemic, Ms. Chen received only a few hundred orders every day.

The surge in orders requires more staff.

"All the staff who have been reserved at the base have taken up their posts and have already participated in the delivery," Ms. Chen said.

During the "epidemic" war, "extremely long standby" became the norm for these vegetable base personnel.

In order to complete the delivery of the order, they have to work from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. the next day, and the actual time is often longer.

Ms. Ding’s professional agricultural product cooperative has a WeChat group that records the delivery of orders.

The screenshots it provided showed that at 3:46 in the morning, they were still delivering.

"Most of the time, they are busy until 3 or 4 in the morning," Ms. Ding said.

These days, "busy" has become their deepest experience.

"Snowflake-like" orders fly in every day, causing residents to call their phones many times while they are on the phone.

There are more than 400 vegetable cooperatives with a scale of more than 100 mu in Shanghai.

In the past, they and residents were at the "two ends" of the vegetable supply chain, but the "epidemic" war will put supply guarantee and distribution in their hands.

According to the introduction of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, in order to ensure uninterrupted agricultural production and uninterrupted supply of vegetable bases, nine agricultural areas in Shanghai require that fast-growing green leafy vegetables be planted on harvested plots and idle land in a timely manner; Enterprises issue various temporary passes, travel permits, etc. to ensure sufficient production labor at the base.

At present, in order to solve the problems of nodes, outlets, personnel, and transportation capacity in ensuring supply, and to get through the "last mile" and "last 100 meters", Ele.me, Hema, Meituan and other supply guarantee companies, from Beijing, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Anhui and other places dispatched and assembled thousands of staff to come to Shanghai for support.

On April 14, a freight train loaded with 6 million kilograms of high-quality long-grain fragrant rice arrived in Shanghai.
