The process of resuming work, production, and business and market in Shanghai is advancing. As an "energy engine" serving the local social economy, State Grid Shanghai Electric Power Company has strengthened outdoor and indoor maintenance and shouldered the responsibility of maintaining electricity.

In the early morning of May 18, employees of the State Grid Shanghai Pudong Power Supply Company pruned branches near Zhoupu Medical Park to prevent electrical equipment from being rubbed by the branches and discharging.

In the afternoon, at the Raffles City Substation on the North Bund in Hongkou District, the staff started the day's maintenance work to ensure that the substation can operate normally during the peak summer season.

It is reported that Shanghai's main power grid has ushered in an overhaul peak recently. In May, there were 250 overhaul tasks in a single month, most of which were high-risk and large-scale centralized overhauls for substations of 500 kV and above. The transformation of substations and other key projects for peak summer are also progressing in an orderly manner, and the overall workload has been equivalent to about 70% of the same period in previous years.
