Middle school students who bought luxury goods with a credit card they picked up while stealing a foreign car were caught by the police.

The Gyeonggi Gunpo Police Station announced yesterday (17th) that it is investigating three people, including a 14-year-old group A, on charges of special theft and illegal use of credit cards.

Army A and others are suspected of stealing foreign motorcycles and Audi cars parked on the street in Gunpo City around 10 am on the 1st and fleeing.

They were found to have committed the crime by targeting cars with their doors locked or with their keys plugged in.

On the afternoon of the same day, it was investigated that Army A and others got into a car accident while moving to Pyeongchon, Anyang, in a stolen car, and then abandoned the car and fled.

They were all arrested when one of the party surrendered while the police, who arrived after receiving a report of theft, analyzed CCTV around the scene and traced their movement.

The police also confirmed that on the day that Army A and others stole the car, they picked up a credit card in front of an ice cream shop in Anyang and bought 4 million won worth of luxury clothing and shoes from a nearby department store.

The stolen vehicles and motorcycles were recovered, and the amount purchased with a credit card was reportedly refunded.

A police official said, "We are investigating whether there are other crimes such as group A." They said, "They are over the age of 14, and they are not considered juveniles by law, so they will be punished as juveniles."
