A man in his 20s has been arrested for illegally filming 200 women while walking around downtown Seoul.

Yesterday (19th), the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced that a man in his 20s was arrested on the 18th for violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes (photographing using cameras, etc.).

Mr. A is accused of illegally filming women while walking around shopping malls and convenience stores around Seoul with his cell phone hanging from his backpack for two months from mid-June.

Last August, at a large shopping mall in Yongsan-gu, the police arrived after receiving a report from a woman who said, "Someone seems to have taken a picture secretly", and the police identified the suspect who escaped through CCTV analysis and conducted an investigation.

As a result of the digital forensic, hundreds of illegally filmed videos were found on Mr. A's mobile phone, and it was confirmed that more than 200 victims were.

The police applied for a prior arrest warrant for Mr. A, and the court issued a warrant for fear of escaping.

The police plan to send the case to the prosecution within this month after investigating the woman's crimes against Mr.
