Son Heung-min (30, Tottenham), who became the first Asian player to win the English Premier League (EPL) top scorer, thanked his colleagues in the locker room after the game. 



Son Heung-min led Tottenham's 5-0 victory by scoring two goals in the second half of the 37th round of the EPL final of the 2021-2022 season against Norwich City at Carrow Road, Norwich, England on the 23rd (Korean time). 



After finishing the season in 4th place, Tottenham Hotspur qualified for the UEFA Champions League for the first time in three seasons. 



Heung-Min Son, who scored his 22nd and 23rd league goals, became the joint top scorer with Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), who scored his 23rd goal against Wolverhampton on the same day.  



Heung-Min Son is the first Asian player to win the top scorer in Europe's five major leagues (England, Spain, Italy, Germany, France).  



Heung-min Son, who received the Golden Boot trophy after the match, said, "I am very moved because it is something I have dreamed of since I was young. I can't believe I have the trophy in my hand now." "My colleagues and coaching staff who helped me receive this award Thank you to everyone,” he said.
