Actor Kim Dong-hyeon (real name Kim Ho-seong, 71), who was sentenced to probation on charges of fraudulent billions of dollars, was handed over to trial for another fraud and sentenced to probation in prison.

According to the legal community today (20th), Judge Jong-gun Jeong, the 9th independent criminal of the Seoul Central District Court, recently sentenced Kim, who was charged with fraud, to 1 year and 6 months in prison and 2 years of probation.

According to the prosecution indictment, in August 2014, Kim borrowed 30 million won from A, the representative of a mutual aid company, where he was an advertising model, saying, "I can't pay the house deposit, but I will pay it back by next month." He is also accused of not repaying after borrowing 80 million won, saying, 'I am building a shopping mall near Wangsimni in Seoul, and I will pay it back in two months with interest after the building is completed.'

Kim's side claimed that he had sufficient ability to repay, but that the victim did not pay it because he did not ask for it, but the court did not accept it.

At that time, Mr. Kim was in debt of hundreds of millions of won due to the failure of the sale business, and the real estate in his name was also sold at auction.

The court said, "The accused has a similar criminal record and the amount of extortion is large," but the victims agreed that they did not want Kim to be punished, and the sentence was decided in consideration of the fairness of the trial along with the previously sentenced fraudulent crimes. .

On the other hand, Kim was sentenced to 10 months in prison in the first trial in 2018 on a separate charge of fraud and was arrested in court, but was released on probation at the appeals court.

In 2012 and 2016, they were each sentenced to a fine of 10 million won on fraud charges.
