A drunk driver in his 50s who left a hamburger at a fast food store and returned to retrieve it was caught by the police.



Today (14th), according to the Daejeon Yuseong Police Station, on the 6th at around 1:25 am, at a fast food restaurant in Gajeong-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, a 112 report was received stating that "There are customers who drunk and drove."



Mr. A, a man in his 50s, visited a'drive-through' store that ordered food while in a car. It is known that Mr. A ordered hamburgers and cola here, begged the clerk, and gossiped as if he was drunk. The clerk reported to the police, saying, "I suspect drunk driving."



The police who were dispatched searched the area, but Mr. A had already left the fast food store. But when I searched the neighborhood again, I found Mr. A returning to the store in a white car.



Mr. A, who left with only Coke from the food he ordered earlier, returned to get the hamburger he left at the store.



Mr. A, who ran away at the request of the police, was caught after a 2km chase. As a result of the police investigation, Mr. A's blood alcohol concentration was about 0.16%, which was the level of revoked license.



Mr. A reportedly told the police, "When I stopped at a fast food restaurant, the deputy driver drove, and there was no hamburger, so I drove myself back."
