Actress IU revealed the behind-the-scenes of her screen debut in 'acting swearing'.
On the afternoon of the 27th (local time) in Cannes, IU attended a media interview for the movie 'The Broker' and said that Jian of her masterpiece 'My Mister' and Soyoung of 'The Broker' have similarities.
IU said, "Both of them have difficult pasts and are not favorable to the world and are pessimistic. They push the couple wildly and swear harshly,” he explained by comparing the two characters.
Regarding the swearing acting that drew attention in the movie, he said, "The script written by the director only had 'Gurida'.

IU said, "So-young must have been very upset in that situation, but I don't think she's going to talk about it that much. (Laughs) In the end, I wrote it myself and gave it to the actors. It was the first time I ever heard such a strong swear word, so I was more nervous than any other emotional scene, and I practiced a lot. Fortunately, the 'OK' sign fell after one or two times," he revealed the story behind the acting.
'The Broker' is a work that depicts the story of people who have a relationship over a baby box that is set up so that people who cannot raise children can leave their children anonymously.
IU took on the role of her mother who left her baby in a baby box and then went to find her again.
'Broker', which entered the competition section of the Cannes Film Festival, was officially screened on the 26th and received a 12-minute standing ovation.
The movie will be officially released in Korea on June 9th.
