Tensions between Russia and the West are rising over Kaliningrad, Russia's enlave facing the Baltic Sea.



Lithuania, a member of NATO = North Atlantic Treaty Organization, has begun restricting rail freight transport from mainland Russia to Kaliningrad.

The Russian side is strongly opposed to taking countermeasures.
