A man and a woman in their 40s were caught by the police after leaving a syringe for drug use at the hotel and leaving.

The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced yesterday (9th) that they are investigating and arresting a 44-year-old woman, Yoo, and a man, Park, on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act at a hotel in Gangnam.

They left the syringe as it was when they left the room after their stay, but they were caught by a report from the hotel that discovered it during room maintenance.

At about 1:20 pm, the police rushed to the scene after receiving a report that "a syringe was found while cleaning" and found the two on the other floor of the same hotel.

55g of methamphetamine, an amount that can be administered to 2,000 people at a time, was found in a bathroom drawer and confiscated.

Yoo is said to have been wanted by the Seongnam Branch of the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office for the same charges.

The police plan to send the confiscated methamphetamine to the National Institute of Scientific Investigation for accurate component analysis.
