One out of three people who disguisedly broke into an apartment in Gaepo-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul as a delivery driver and committed a robbery was caught by the police after causing a hit-and-run accident.



The Eunpyeong Police Station and Suseo Police Station in Seoul said they had urgently arrested a 51-year-old man, Park Mo, who tried to escape after hitting a man in his 70s with a vehicle while running away from police pursuits on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act.



Park was driving his K5 vehicle in an alley in Galhyeon-dong, Eunpyeong-gu at around 10:10 a.m. yesterday and crashed into a 78-year-old man A while riding a bicycle.



Park, the suspect in the robbery, was running away from the Suseo Police Station's strong team at the time.



The police arrested two citizens while Park ran away from the vehicle after collided with an additional structure placed on the road.



It is said that he had hit a parked Starex vehicle before colliding with Mr. A.



Mr. A, who fell over by a vehicle is not life-threatening, but is a suspected brain hemorrhage.



Park, along with two accomplices, deceived him, saying, "I came to pick up a return package," in a high-rise apartment in Gaepo-dong around 3:30 pm on the 9th.



An official from the Suseo Police Station said, "So far, two people including Park have been arrested, and the other one is being pursued."



The police plan to apply for an arrest warrant for the two arrested first on charges of special robbery.
