In a residential area in Seoul, he ran into a homeowner in his 70s who was trying to rob a semi-basement rental room and was caught by the police after running away.



As a result of SBS coverage, the Dongjak Police Station in Seoul applied for an arrest warrant yesterday (17th) for a 70-year-old man A on charges of quasi-robbery.



Mr. A is accused of assaulting and fleeing when he ran into the owner of the house, Mr. B, while trying to rob a semi-basement rental room in a residential area in Sadang-dong, Dongjak-gu, around 1:10 pm on the 16th.



It is said that he pushed and assaulted the shoulder of a man in his 30s, B, who came back from going out while breaking through the front door and stealing cash and cameras.



Mr. B shouted "He's a thief" and "Help me", and a neighbor who heard it reported it.



Police arrived and arrested A, who had fled the area after about 10 minutes.



A was investigated by the police as a habitual offender, 21 criminals including theft.
