The bill of resignation of former representative Lee Nak-yeon, the president of the Democratic Party of Korea, was passed at the National Assembly plenary session today (15th).

It has been a week since I announced my sudden resignation on the 8th.

The National Assembly voted on the resignation of former representative Lee at the plenary session this afternoon, and as a result of the vote, it passed with 151 votes in favor, 42 against, and 16 abstentions out of a total of 209 votes.

The agenda for resignation of a member of the National Assembly is resolved only when a majority of members present at the plenary session agree.
