Former Captain Lee Geun, who joined the 'Homeland Defense Force International Brigade', a foreign volunteer unit in Ukraine, returned home today (27th).
Mr. Lee arrived at Incheon International Airport around 7:30 am that day.
It has been about three months since he left the country to participate in the war against the Russian army that invaded Ukraine in early March.
It is known that Lee was injured on the battlefield and returned to Korea for rehabilitation.
The police plan to investigate Lee by applying the charge of violating the passport law.
