A fire broke out in a 13-story building in Kauhsiung, southern Taiwan, killing at least nine people and injuring 44 others, the Associated Press reported on the 14th (local time), citing local media.
The Kaohsiung Fire Department said in a statement this morning that a fire broke out in the building around 3 a.m., and that firefighters are conducting search and rescue operations.
